Pads and Tampons
The ANNA maxi pad is Africa’s only locally manufactured, ethically sourced 100% natural 100% biodegradable organic pad.

The absorbent core in the ANNA maxi pad is made from 100% natural plant fibres, sourced from renewable, responsibly managed, man-made FSC certified forests. The core contains no super-absorbent polymers. The pads feature a breathable and environmentally friendly top sheet made from 100% natural raw cotton, this ensures a soft feel against your skin and improved comfort. Skin irritations, normally associated with plastic products, are eliminated. The topsheet contains no dyes, fragrances or parabens. The pad backsheet is made from 100% eco-friendly Certified Compostable Cardia plant-based biopolymer. It is biodegradable certified.
Each pad is individually wrapped in an organic biodegradable wrapper and is packaged in sleeves of 25 in recycled cardboard boxes. All ink and glue is water based, ensuring the entire product from pad to package is completely compostable.

Our tampons are made from 100% organic cotton certified to the GOTS standard (Global Organic Textile Standard) and approved by the ICEA. These standards ensure that our organic tampons are GM free and are grown without the use of synthetic fertilisers (or potentially toxic pesticides).
Dispensers
Our primary dispenser - which will be suitable for almost all corporate bathrooms - was designed for us by one of South Africa's leading product manufacturers. It is fabricated from a a lockable stainless steel frame which is affixed to walls with double sided tape (avoiding the need to drill into tiles). A gravity feed system dispenses pads and tampons. The frame has interchangeable front pieces which will carry striking designs and can be customised to each customer.

For more robust environments such as warehouses and packing rooms a conventional vending machine will be provided.

Each dispenser will carry a monthly rental fee.
​
Restocking dispensers is easy and merely requires a cleaner or bathroom attendant to unlock the device and slide a new carton of pads or tampons into the dispensing unit.
